1. Re: Question regarding application of @PersistenceContext (CMP)
vahid001 Nov 25, 2013 9:16 AM (in response to vahid001)I got the "DoingTestEntityManager" working at this point and am able to have a DoingTestEntityManager bean registered and look it up through InitialContext lookup.
Somehow still the EntityManager remains 'null'.
Any idea's/thoughts would be much appreciated.

wdfink Nov 25, 2013 10:22 AM (in response to vahid001)1 of 1 people found this helpfulWhat if you use a @Stateless bean and remove the extended type?
Also you might set TRACE to have more details when the bean is activated, maybe you have the persistence.xml in the wrong place.

4. Re: Question regarding application of @PersistenceContext (CMP)
vahid001 Nov 26, 2013 3:03 AM (in response to vahid001)FInally got it working; the problem was indeed the location of the persistence.xml file. Created an META-INF folder, where I placed the persistence.xml file accordingly.
Thanks for the help.
