MAX Aggregator not available with CMP2.0?

Hi Folks,
I've read that EJB2.0 doesn't support the MAX aggregator function or the ORDER BY function.

What's the benefit of this? I understand this is a SUN decision but is there a JBoss work around (specifically one for jboss 3.2.1?)
