RichFaces 4.3 with Internet Explorer 7

I know Internet Explorer 7 is not supported by RichFaces 4.3 and it is no good idea to try this. But our development is nearly close to be finished and now the customer requires support of IE7. So I hope someone in this community has already made some experience and will share this experience. I expect that it will not work, but I hope someone can tell me something like: "if you do this or that, it will work with some limitations." So can anybody share his experience? Thanks in advance!

It's not so much that "it's not supported" as it is that it's not tested.  AFAIK we haven't done anything to specifically break compatibility with IE 7 (yet!).  That being said, issues reported with RichFaces and IE 7 will not be a priority for us, so you'll likely want to accompany such issue reports with a git pull request.
