3. Re: Using a4j:mediaOutput to play .mp3 audio file . Running on Chome But No On FireFox.
haroonfoad Dec 16, 2013 2:51 AM (in response to haroonfoad)By the way,
I am working on ubuntu 12.04 with jboss as 7.1.1.Final and FireFox (Version 22).
I tried to run the application from windows internet explorer 9 and it does not work also.
However, when I tried to run the application from FireFox (Version 24) on windows 7 it works fine.
Is there any explanation to this?
Please help.

bleathem Dec 16, 2013 2:04 PM (in response to haroonfoad)What version of RichFaces are you using? The mediaOutput uses a deserialisation process that underwent some changes in RichFaces 4.3.3.Final. You can try your use case before/after that release to see if any fix/breaking-change was introduced.

bleathem Dec 17, 2013 11:21 AM (in response to haroonfoad)Thanks for checking. If you have a use case that works in some browsers but not others, please file a jira issue with appropriate reproducing code and we'll take a closer look.
