Question about RHQ4.9.0 configuration

I have configured RHQ Server and RHQ-storage RHQ Agent on my one machine.I want to add another rhq agent on another machine, I have install the rhq-agent  jar plugins well.

what should I do to configure rhq agent comunicate to rhq-server ? if I have set rhq agent server comunite to fixed rhq-server,when I set RHQ-HA enviroment,how this rhq-agent communicate to other rhq-server?

If I configure the HA enviroment ,how to configure RHQ-1-server  enviroment and RHQ-2-server enviroment communicate each other?

I read the rhq user document and still have some confuse,thanks for instruction.

Read the Configure the RHQ Agent section carefully.

If your network configuration allows your RHQ servers and agents to talk to each other, then server and agent communication will depend on workload balancing, affinity groups and failover lists.

If I configure the HA enviroment ,how to configure RHQ-1-server  enviroment and RHQ-2-server enviroment communicate each other?

The two servers won't communicate with each other, not directly. They will use the same relational database, and the same storage node cluster.

Thanks very much for instruction.I want to set a RHQ HA environment with two RHQ server install pakages on two machines.What I want to know is detail configuration which need to be notice.

Just to be clear, one RHQ Server can service many RHQ Agents.  You only need to add additional RHQ servers if the single server can not support your agent load.   In general, each agent must be able to resolve/reach each server and each server must be able to resolve/reach each agent.  Each server must be able to access the single RDB database.  Each server must be able to reach an RHQ storage node and each RHQ Storage node must be configured as needed to form the storage cluster.

The documentation mentioned above should have all of the details and we can't really repeat it here, but feel free to ask specific questions as you proceed with the 4.9 installation guide: Installation - RHQ 4.9 - Project Documentation Editor.
