Fuse Service Works 6.0.0 installation fails on Windows 64bit

Hi all,

I'm trying to install Fuse Service Works 6.0.0 to have a first look on the platform and play around with it. Unfortunately, the installation fails and I have no idea how to fix that. I have attached images of the installation wizard at the bottom.

I'm using Windows 64bit and to start the installation I used the following command:

java -Xms2048m -Xmx2048m -jar jboss-eap-6.0.0.fsw.ci-installer.jar

The installation manual suggests that setting -Xms1024m is required on windows so I decided to give it double the size.

I'd appreciate any comments or help to fix this and install Fuse Service Works. If there are any information missing, I'm happy to share more details of my setup.

Check if your host entry has got a different server name. I was facing the same issue but after removing dns names from host file it worked.

I don't have any entries in my hosts file.

Can you post the install log file?  (InstallationLog.txt)   There should be some information in there.

Also - which Java are you using?

Hi,

I was having the same problem but just managed to resolve it. Maybe your root cause is the same as mine.

My Windows 'JAVA_HOME' environment variable was set to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_51\bin

It should be C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_51 instead

Realized it when I commented the ‘@echo off’ in the startup standalone.bat batch file and saw it was trying to run Java from C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_51\bin\bin
