How to remove a user from one partition and add it to another partition?

I'm trying to change a user specifies a partition to another using the function identityManager.remove (user), but I get the following error:

PLIDM000601: Could not remove AttributedType [org.picketlink.idm.model.basic.User @ d4a6b000].

I'm working with: Picketlink  2.5.3.Beta1 and WildFly 8.0.0.Beta1

According to the logs we have this root cause:

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Not an entity: class org.picketlink.idm.jpa.model.sample.simple.DigestCredentialTypeEntity

Can you please check if the entity above is define in your persistence.xml ?

The entity that you mention was not declared in the persistence.xml file, also need to declare the following entities:

org.picketlink.idm.jpa.model.sample.simple.OTPCredentialTypeEntity

org.picketlink.idm.jpa.model.sample.simple.X509CredentialTypeEntity

With this I could remove the user from the original partition, then I added the other partition but this adds no password.

Is there any way to get the user's password in the original partition to update with the new user?

eg.

String password = user.getAttribute ("password");
