How to update Apache CXF in JBoss AS 6.1.0-Final

How can I update the Apache CXF libraries of JBoss?  I have a java stand-alone client that works fine with v2.7.8 so I would like to update the libraries in JBoss.  I tested the java client with v2.3.1 (I understand the version installed with JBoss6) but my client spews oodles of errors and crashes.

Hi Carlo,

the JBossWS binary distribution can be installed on multiple target containers, usually the latest 3 releases of JBossAS / WildFly. You can see the matrix of supported target containers here.

This said, JBossAS 6.1.0.Final is an old container and there's no automatic way for updating its webservices stack. You should move to a more recent container.
