1. Re: Getting jBPM to run in JBOSS AS 7.1
swiderski.maciej Feb 19, 2014 4:43 AM (in response to madboyprice)just create users e.g. using add-user script that comes with JBoss AS7 and ensure they will be given on of these roles:
- admin
- analyst
- developer
- user
and then go to application (http://localhost:8080/jbpm-console), log on and start with your first steps in jbpm world. Here you can see some screen casts about how to get started.

2. Re: Getting jBPM to run in JBOSS AS 7.1
madboyprice Feb 21, 2014 1:18 AM (in response to swiderski.maciej)Thanks. I had already created a user, but when I try to go to http://localhost:8080/jbpm-console I get a 404 response. It's as though jbpm has not deployed correctly even though it says it has.
As I am new to JBoss and JBPM, I am sure it is something silly I have messed.
Any thoughts?
Cheers

how about you share server.log with us ? Maybe there is something which indicates what went wrong.

4. Re: Getting jBPM to run in JBOSS AS 7.1
swiderski.maciej Feb 26, 2014 3:14 AM (in response to madboyprice)Mike, you're trying to deploy zip file that simply contains all binaries for jbpm but not the actual web application. Best is to use installer at first to at least produce a valid war archive so it can be easily deployed on another JBoss server. Then you can use it and follow some configuration steps to deploy it on another jboss instance.
Configuration steps:
- define users and roles
- define data source if the default is not good enough
- use standalone-full profile so JMS will be activated
