JDO deployment help

does the jar containing the jdo (classes & jdo) must not contain a ejb-jar or jboss.xml descriptor?

i tried including all my ejbs, jdo, deployment descriptors in one file and the jdo stuff doesn't get deployed.

Yes, your DO can't contains any ejb stuff. It should contains the class and jdo file only.
