1. Re: Hypersonic:Database corruption
juhalindfors Sep 2, 2003 3:39 AM (in response to asubu)Hypersonic, especially the older versions, is not production grade, I'd suggest you try another Open source database in this case.

juha Sep 2, 2003 8:22 AM (in response to asubu)I personally prefer PostgreSQL but there are many OSS databases out there, PSQL, MySQL, Firebird, McKoi, SAPDB and I'm sure many others...

4. Re: Hypersonic:Database corruption
asubu Sep 4, 2003 1:28 AM (in response to asubu)Thanks again, But regarding your comment about HSQL db. We are using this database ( hypersonic) based on recomendations given to us by Dain Sundstorm. So I would like to really know if this information about HSQL is true or not.

5. Re: Hypersonic:Database corruption
juha Sep 7, 2003 10:05 AM (in response to asubu)This is purely my opinion. I would not use the old versions of HSQL (included in 3.0.0) in production. You make your own estimation based on your application requirements. Other free databases exists and are more robust than HSQL, in my opinion.
