1. Re: How to send a event/massage from process instance to another process instance
salaboy21 Mar 10, 2014 8:08 AM (in response to oceanskkkkky)Yes you can, the question is more about from where do you want to send the event? Where in the process (origin)>
for example if you are in a script task you can do something like
kcontext.signalEvent(); where you can specify the process instance ID besides the event.

oceanskkkkky Mar 10, 2014 8:44 AM (in response to salaboy21)Hi,
Mauricio,
Thank you for your reply.
Yes,i want to send the event from a script task.
From the jBPM5.4 API, I find a mathod : kcontext.getKnowledgeRuntime().signalEvent(eventType,data,process instance Id).
But , can i send the event to all the process instances in the knowledgeSession without the process instance id?
Just like the method outside the process instance : ksession.signalEvent(eventType,data);

oceanskkkkky Mar 10, 2014 10:07 AM (in response to oceanskkkkky)Hi,
Mauricio,
I have solved it by using method: kcontext.getKnowledgeRuntime().signalEvent(eventType,data).
Thank you very much!
