1. Re: retrieving custom object from jBPM6 using REST API
salaboy21 Mar 12, 2014 5:04 AM (in response to pandyajayn)Hi Jaykumar,
At this point you can't do that. The main idea is to get the TaskSummary which is a light object to send over the wire to create your task lists. Then you can get the Task Content which is used to store domain specific data using the Task ID provided in the Task Summary.

pandyajayn Mar 14, 2014 11:17 AM (in response to salaboy21)Hi,
thanks a lot for your input it helped me to resolve many issues. Some days later i will post entire code using JAVA REST API integration with jBPM6.
I need one more input, can you please help me to understand it?
my flow from java is like:
I am starting process and getting process instance id
using process instance id, i am trying to retrieve all the tasks associated to particular user but when i am quierying it using REST API it is giving me list of all the tasks assigned to this user instead of the process which i had started which is not my requirements.
can you please guide me how to resolve this issue?

3. Re: retrieving custom object from jBPM6 using REST API
salaboy21 Mar 18, 2014 7:15 AM (in response to pandyajayn)You just need something like this:
But again, from user perspective, they shouldn't care from which process instance the task is.. they just need to see their pending tasks.
Inside the task itself there is the process instance id which created the task.. so you can get that from the task data as well.
