as always i need to see the error before i can make anny assumptions, or see your build and pom.xml.

but type needs to be jar cause you package it as a jar and the web module is dependent on a jar.

Sorry to say it, but i can't reconstruct the problem. Now my application is compiling, building and deploying. Maybe it was a local problem of my workstation.
