The problem may be on the HornetQ server. because "examples\jms\proton-j" can be run successfully on ActiveMQ AMQP server.

ataylor Mar 25, 2014 10:20 AM (in response to ataylor)after you start HornetQ use netstat to see which interfaces are being bound to, maybe it isnt the ones you expect.

I had not read QuickStart. I did not kown how to run The JMS examples , and did not kown to configure the server at first.

<queue name="testQueue">
<address>testQueue</address>
</queue>
</queues>

ataylor Mar 26, 2014 5:34 AM (in response to gaohoward)like i said before make sure the client is trying to connect to the correct host, run netstat to see which interfaces HornetQ is binding too.
