Fuse Integration Perspective doesn't look right on a mac

      Hi -

I downloaded and installed the Fuse IDE on a macbook pro. The IDE version is 7.2.129.

I have been working through the tutorial and am looking at how to trace a message through the route.

This is the functionality I am most excited about having just finished a Spring Integration project and finding this kind of tracing not as straight forward.

What I'm seeing though doesn't match the pictures from the tutorial - you can see my screen shot below - the Messages View only has one column and when you select a message, it doesn't show anything message related in the Properties view.

I've reset the perspective and that doesn't help.

Are there better and worse IDE versions to use? ( I did have trouble trying to get subclipse installed with this IDE and I tried for quite some time .. maybe 7.2.129 is not fully baked for Mac? )

Ok - in case someone else comes across this.

I haven't figured out how to get the Properties view to populate with Message data - but there are tons of columns available to populate the Messages View.

You have to select them by clicking on the small down arrow at the top right of the view.

Not sure why nothing is selected by default.

            Hi Damian,

that version of the tooling still had an issue which sticks the properties view to the process overview. (the stuff you have in the properties view of your screen shot)

To actually see the message content you can simply select the properties view and in the toolbar of that view disable the pin button which is currently selected. (see your screenshot - 4th button from the right)

When you disable it the contents of the properties view will be linked to what you select in the messages view.

            Regards

            Lars
