tojopjose Apr 1, 2014 1:38 PM (in response to jbertram)I was able to follow the steps and connect to MQ from the MDB . Now i am looking to see is any way , instead of annotating the MDB with MQ info , bound the cannel and queue to JNDI and look up the MQ queues using jboss JNDI name.

7. Re: Jboss AS 7 and IBM MQ
tojopjose Apr 3, 2014 10:48 PM (in response to jbertram)Now i am trying to migrate a project that has EJB 2.1 MDB into JBoss , i could configure EJB3 MDB to listen to IBM MQ , and able to write message's to the queue , using JNDI lookup of MQ connection factory , MQ Queue defiled in the stalaone_full.xml .
But not able to configure EJB2.1 MDB to listen on MQ queue through the JNDI QCF and Q .
Could you please provide some advise on this.

8. Re: Jboss AS 7 and IBM MQ
jbertram Apr 4, 2014 11:05 AM (in response to tojopjose)I can't help you with EJB2.x stuff, and there's probably not many around who can. EJB2 was quite nearly dropped from Java EE 7 altogether, but they only dropped EJB2.1 Entity beans. I recommend you migrate all your MDBs to EJB3.x sooner rather than than later.
