Hello,

I'd like to test XA datasource toward mysql 5. However, as soon as I acess to a datasource inside jboss 4.2.0 GA (like on jboss 4.0.0), I get the message :

I'm encountering this on certain JBoss versions.

Moving to 5.1.0.GA seems to solve the problem. No idea what actually triggers it.

I got almost exactly error in jta mysql datasources. My code runs fine in jboss eap6.0 but is having this issue in wildfly 8.0.0.Final. Still searching cause. If anybody has any clue, please let me know.

The weird thing is that this error only occurs the very first time a user login and invoke the method that runs this jta transaction to insert into databases (through jpa and native sql query). Subsequent calls commit successfully. But after no activity for a while (db connection timed out), this error occurs again.

Thanks, Tom. Yes, we are still experiencing this issue anytime we have multiple datasources involved and jpa native sql insert statement is used.

I have a separated thread opened a month ago but has not got a good answer. If you can look at the thread:

Wildfly jta transaction fails when datasources which are used for inserting. But only fails for the first time to be used.

can give me suggestion, it will be much appreciated. I am willing to work with you and provide all required info if you need it. I was thinking this is a JCA issue or ironjacamar issue, but I do not have solid proof. The same code works fine in eap 6.0.
