How to add a database table field without deleting the table before restarting jboss?

Hi everyone,

It would be great if someone knows how to add a database table field that can be used by jboss dao classes, without having to delete the table, restart jboss, and let jboss create the new table.

That's more a SQL question.

Have a look to the MySQL documentation for ALTER TABLE.
