You can test it in two ways: 1. You can deploy the server.war on a app server ( tested only with wF 8.0.0.Final and 8.1.0.Final) 2. You can start a tyrus websocket server. The reconnection works fine. But there's a bug with WF 8.0.0.Final. After 6 server reboots I got a java.net.SocketException: No buffer space available (maximum connections reached?): bind ??
