Jboss 7.3 and jsf 2.2

Hi,

I want to use JBoss 7.3 with JSF 2.2.X.

I have an WAR which work fine with jsf 2.1 included with jboss 7.3.

When I include JSF 2.2.6 inside my war, I have the following error :

Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.sun.faces.util.Util.isCdiOneOneOrGreater()Z

Any help would be highly appreciated.

MIght be a class loader issue as you have both versions active.

You need to exclude the JSF from the JBoss installation, see Class Loading in AS7

Thanks for your advise.

I manage to eclude the JSF from the jboss installation by setting the web.xml option org.jboss.jbossfaces.WAR_BUNDLES_JSF_IMPL to true.

But right now I have a the following error :  [WFLY-682] Custom JSF deployment does not work altogether with CDI - JBoss Issue Tracker

Do you know if another solution is possible?
