JBoss 7.1.1 not display Web Console

    shwelzen

      Hi,

I installed JBoss 7.1.1 on linux platform.

I was able to add a management user to JBoss and access the Management Console. (Screenshot is attached)

      URL: http://<<IP Address>>:9990

However, i do not see any Web Console available.

I am researching on Performance Tuning JBoss and need to see what parameters are available on that console.

Can someone help me with accessing the Web Console?

I checked a lot of forums and sites. But, still unable to get the Web Console.

      Thanks,

      Sheldon

What you mean by WebConsole? The webconsole of former AS versions?

since AS7 the management console is the unified administration console

            Hi,

            Thanks for replying.

The issue then in that case is that it appears that the Admin Console is incomplete.

I dont see many options to tune the JBoss server.

            For e.g.

To tune JVM parameters, i had to manually update a standalone.conf file.

Currently, i want to verify how to update the Thread Pool for HTTP (not EJB) and do not find an option to do that.

I am also unable to deploy a war file of my company project via the Admin Console. It loads for some time and then stops.

If possible can we call as well?

Send me your email id and will provide my details.

            Thanks,

            Sheldon

                Hello Sheldon,

if you need to tune the JVM parameters you can use the domain mode where the servers are controlled by a separate admin process, here you can change the JVM options and restart the server.

In standalone mode you need to have the JVM configuration outside of the server configuration, therefor *.conf is used.

It might happen that the console did not offer all configuration options, I recommend to use WildFly8 to have the latest version.

If you need a phone support or short response times you should consider a Red Hat Supscription, the community does not provide it.
