1. Re: EAP Tems and conditions
ctomc Jun 5, 2014 9:02 AM (in response to fenoloco)What you are referring to is JBoss Application Server not EAP.
Last release of JBoss Application Server was 7.1.1. after that community project was renamed to WildFly.
Which just recently released version 8.1.0.Final, read more about it http://wildfly.org/
EAP is Red Hat hardened version of JBoss AS now WildFly.
EAP 6.0 was based on on 7.1 and later evolved in its own pace, without any real community counter parts.
There are non alpha EAP downloads available under developer $0 subscription which allows you to use it for development and testing but for production you need proper commercial subscription, for pricing best thing to do is to contact sales http://www.redhat.com/contact/sales.html
However .Alpha released of EAP (most recent 6.3.0.Alpha) which are free to use anywhere you like.

2. Re: EAP Tems and conditions
leprek Jun 6, 2014 10:35 AM (in response to ctomc)Then why in JBoss Application Server Downloads - JBoss Community , for all versions of AS downloads, including the MEAPs , the licence appears to be LGPL?
Is there any other legal clause or term, hidden somewhere else that forbids use in production of a MEAP download?
