First add the extension:
<extension module="org.jboss.as.modcluster"/>
Then add the subsystem configuration:
<subsystem xmlns="urn:jboss:domain:modcluster:1.2"> <mod-cluster-config advertise-socket="modcluster" connector="ajp"> <dynamic-load-provider> <load-metric type="cpu"/> </dynamic-load-provider> </mod-cluster-config> </subsystem>
You might want to change the connector name there (use default for http).
And to socket binding add:
<socket-binding name="modcluster" port="0" multicast-address="224.0.1.105" multicast-port="23364"/>
You may want to change the defaults here if you change them on the loadbalancer.
Check the documentation how to setup the httpd balancer with mod_cluster.
