Update a module (slf4j) in JBoss AS 7.1.3?

I know logging libraries and configuration are special in JBoss AS 7.x.  I wanted to use the new varargs capability introduced in slf4j 1.7.x.  Is it possible, recommended to try updating the module?

There ware bunch of problems with slf4j upgrade as they broke binary compatibility between versions.

also there was a big issue with concurrency in 1.7.x versions

you can try using 1.7.2.jbossorg-1 version from repository.jboss.org but i cannot promise you everything will work.

I would recommend you to upgrade o version that already has 1.7 in....
