1. Re: Fuse Repository Down?
robertrich Jul 16, 2014 1:50 AM (in response to paulc8712)Based on my experiences today, there is some serious link hygiene needed with everything related to this project. Many references to old links that have just been dumped into redirectors that go nowhere interesting. Discontinued names and whatnot. It's a bit frustrating.
Try this:
http://repo.fusesource.com/nexus/content/repositories/releases/
Seems the trailing slash is required.

2. Re: Fuse Repository Down?
paulc8712 Jul 16, 2014 2:00 AM (in response to robertrich)My main problem is that I am unable to install some of my features as the dependencies cannot be resolved.
eg: Error executing command: URL [mvn:org.apache.camel/camel-quartz/2.10.0.fuse-71-047] could not be resolved.
Adding the trailing slash to org.ops4j.pax.url.mvn.repositories setting does not seem to help with this.
This has been working for me for the last 6 months or so. It's onlt be last couple of days that I have noticed an issue.
Paul.

3. Re: Fuse Repository Down?
robertrich Jul 16, 2014 3:08 AM (in response to paulc8712)There's something wrong with that web server. I noticed it earlier, then dismissed it because I was reliably able to get the URL with the trailing slash to work. I literally copied and pasted that URL from my browser to the message I posted. It was working then, but is not working now.
I guess just hold off for a day or two until someone gets a chance to take a look at it.
Sorry for the false alarm.

4. Re: Fuse Repository Down?
nathanwray Jul 16, 2014 8:29 AM (in response to robertrich)The current fuse download build 379, the quickstarts can't be compiled. if you check the only repo that seems to be anywhere near correct at
https://repo.fusesource.com/nexus/content/groups/ea/org/fusesource/fuse-project/
you'll see they have artifacts for builds 378 and 385 but not the current download. Shows some serious lack of build discipline.
I was able to replace every occurrence of 379 with 378 in *.xml and get them to build, trying to get them running now. Not impressed so far.

davsclaus Jul 16, 2014 10:32 AM (in response to nathanwray)The EA repo is Early Access, so it does not hold official GA releases. And hence why 379 is not there. Those other build numbers are beta releases and a special test release for open shift.

nathanwray Jul 16, 2014 1:42 PM (in response to davsclaus)Thanks Claus, the quickstarts all fail for 379 however regardless of the root cause

paulc8712 Jul 16, 2014 7:24 PM (in response to paulc8712)Any update on the status of the release repository?
Are these artifacts mirrored anywhere else?

8. Re: Fuse Repository Down?
paulc8712 Jul 16, 2014 9:01 PM (in response to paulc8712)I have managed to get things working - but not sure what the implications might be.
I switched org.ops4j.pax.url.mvn.repositories to use http://repo.fusesource.com/nexus/content/groups/public
rather than http://repo.fusesource.com/nexus/content/repositories/releases
