What is the difference between CamelExchange and ExchangeImpl?

Hello folks,

Can I ask you what's the difference between CamelExchange and ExchangeImpl?  Those are the only two implementations of the SwitchYard's Exchange interface in the SY codebase, and my understanding is that ExchangeImpl has been deprecated since SWITCHYARD-1394 and CamelExchange is the one which is currently used all over the codebase. Is that correct?

If that's the case, why do we still have ExchangeImpl in the codebase?  For the sake of KISS principle, wouldn't it be a good idea to remove it from the codebase?  Please let me know if there is any reason it really has to be present.

ExchangeImpl is from before we moved to Camel for the exchange bus.  It's not a public part of the API, so I don't see it causing a lot of grief for users.  We used to use it for some unit tests even after the Camel conversion, IIRC.  If we don't use it at all any longer, then I don't have an objection to removing it.

To clarify - we definitely don't use ExchangeImpl at runtime.  I just haven't searched to see if it's used in any core tests that don't depend on Camel (e.g. core/runtime).
