SUM Query : Is it possible ?

I'm designing an app where most of requests requires a SUM across a large array of elements in cache.

All elements can be updated massively.

Can you advice me for the design of my application ?

Is it possible to make the SUM without getting all unitary elements outside the cache ?

You'd need to write the SUM operation as a Map/Reduce job.
