Deploying Applications from JON 2.x console

I have read through the documentation but could not find this, so please forgive me if this information is already out there and I have overlooked it.

I saw a tutorial on how to do deploy web apps in JON 1.x, but the controls that are available for JBossAS instances in JON 2.x are slightly different.

In JON 2.x, WARs can be deployed using the Create New Resource controls off the Inventory tab of the JBossAS Resource to which you wish to deploy the WAR. See https://docs.jbosson.redhat.com/confluence/display/JON2/Creating+New+Resources#CreatingNewResources-EARandWAR for details.

Look at the Inventory of your JBossAS, below the "child resources" you have a "Create New" ComboBox, choose EAR or WAR.
