Recipient List routing not routing beyond first "TO" URI?

Hello,

I am trying to simple Recipient list routing configuration as follows:

•      <from uri="jbi:service:http://www.pictorsolutions.com/ServiceConsumers/CamelRoutingService"/>*

•      <to uri="jbi:service:http://www.pictorsolutions.com/ServiceProviders/TraceService"/>*

• </route>*

</camelContext>

when I post an XML message to the CamelRoutingService service via an ActiveMQClient of a ServiceMix instance, I can see that the message is routed to the RequestProvider service only. I dont see the message show up on the TraceService for some reason. Is there something I am missing in the configuration?

What you have set up is just a standard route. Take a look at the page on the recipient list pattern on the Camel website. A recipient list is different from a standard route.

Is there something I need to look for? cause the only difference I see is the <TO> element. I came across that the webpage and read on one of the forums that the page has a an older version of the TO element. moreover when I use the TOas on the page, I get an exception saying URI needs a "REF" or "URI".

BTW, I am using

fuse-esb-3.3.1.0

There's an example of both a static recipient list and a dynamic recipient list available in the latest spring_route_builder_test.xml file. Notice the difference in syntax between that file and the example you posted above, i.e., a single  elements.

Strangely, though, the  element does not seem to be part of the Camel context schema (see http://activemq.apache.org/camel/schema/spring). Is this an oversight or is the published schema out of date?
