1. Re: No way to use activeMQ via http. TCP works fine, but not http. Please help.
ubhole May 6, 2009 12:11 PM (in response to smt)I think you already have received some answer on other activemq forum so just want to record it here.
Hi, there's currently an effort to improve http transport for 5.3 release [https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/AMQ-2238] Please post all your comments there and I'll try to resolve them. 2. Re: No way to use activeMQ via http. TCP works fine, but not http. Please help.
gseben May 6, 2009 12:26 PM (in response to smt)Currently, there are known issues with the http transport, that make the use of even basic functionality unreliable. All the unit tests for this transport were disabled and several of them were failing. There is an ongoing effort to improve the reliability of the transport, see AMQ-2238

3. Re: No way to use activeMQ via http. TCP works fine, but not http. Please help.
smt Dec 16, 2009 4:13 PM (in response to gseben)Checked AMQ-2238 and see status fixed in 5.3.0
Retested with 5.3.0 and see issue still exists. Seems like activemq works still unstable with http.
Tcp through 443 is only one solution to pass proxy. (This was a helpfull answer on some forum).
