Long start up time when broker goes down hard

We've been doing some testing with the message broker and noticed that the start up time after a hard crash (simulated using kill -9) is about 11 minutes where we had 50 consumers on a topic w/ 10,000 unsent messages (per consumer). 

After shutting down the broker cleanly, by doing a Ctrl-C, the broker will usually start in less than a minute.

Any idea if there is a way to tune this so the start up time is not so long if there is a hard crash?

Hi Rob,

The broker is probably doing a full rebuild of the persistent store indexes (which is necessary after a hard crash).

It might be possible to tweak the size of the index* properties as described in the Fuse Message Broker Persistence Guide such that the startup time could be reduced.
