Version of WSS4J in Fuse ESB 3.4

Hello,

From looking at the contents of the ServiceMix shared component, it looks like wss4j 1.5.2 is supported by Fuse ESB 3.4 (I've checked 3.4.0.1 and 3.4.0.2).  However, I want to get support for a WS-Security BinarySecurityToken, which is in later versions of wss4j (I've confirmed that BinarySecurityTokenProcessor is in 1.5.5).

If I put wss4j-1.5.5.jar in the lib directory, I get exceptions.  Will a newer version of wss4j be in 3.4.0.3 or do I need to request Fuse for this specific upgrade.

Are you looking for support of  the Web-Services-Security-3-X.509-Certificate-Token-Profile specification? We have already raised a new feature request ESB-686 for that one.

However so far this support has not been added to FUSE ESB.

I just noticed ESB-686 has already been resolved and will be added to FUSE ESB 3.4.0.3-fuse that is to be released next.

For now, I'm just looking to support a custom Binary Security Token.  I'm planning to use the WSS4jInInterceptor and a custom interceptor for this purpose but I don't see sufficient support from wss4j 1.5.2.  Will Fuse ESB 3.4.0.3 have a newer version of wss4j?  Thanks.

Yes, the next release will use wss4j-1.5.5.jar.
