Camel - cxf ------ Configuration problem: Unable to locate Spring Namespace

Hi,

When i am creating the Camel cxf component,it build successfully but while deloying it is giving the following error.

Configuration problem: Unable to locate Spring NamespaceHandler for XML schema namespace http://activemq.apache.org/camel/schema/cxfEndpoint

Offending resource: URL bundle://160.0:0/META-INF/spring/camel-context.xml

My camel-context.xml:

Try with version 1.6.0 or lower as I cannot remember if that entry was missing in camel-cxf.

Or try without using a version as it should still be able to find in the .jar using the spring scheme.

You can take a look inside camel-cxf.jar file and look for the Spring scheme handler or what the files was named. I cannot remember but its a text like file and you can see the version numbers there.

By that I mean to change 1.6.1 in the XML header to 1.6.0 etc.

Not to use 1.6.0 .jar files.

I am having this same problem. I have tried with 1.6.0 and 1.6.1 in the XML file.

http://activemq.apache.org/camel/schema/cxfEndpoint is very old expired namespace, current one should be

http://camel.apache.org/schema/cxf

"http://activemq.apache.org/camel/schema/cxfEndpoint" is just for Camel 1.x as Camel is sub project of Activemq when we developed the Camel 1.x.

Since Camel 2.x, Camel project became the top level project, we changed the schema url to "http://camel.apache.org/schema/xxx".

Since you are using Camel 2.7.x, you'd better using this url "http://camel.apache.org/schema/cxf"
