Advisory Consumer Queue

Hi,

I've noticed that some of my ActiveMQ.Advisory.Consumer.Queue. topics have large queue sizes - which keep going up.

So two queustions:

1) The comsumers that they relate to use Spring's JmsTemplate to periodically 'receive' from the queue.  So does the fact that the number keeps incrementing signal an underlying problem?

2) Are these entries recorded somewhere and therefore taking up resource?

Since ActiveMQ.Advisory.Consumer.Queue. is a topic, if there are no durable subscribers attached to it, messages published there are just discarded. No resources should be used to keep those messages around.
