    Configuring Features on ESB 4.2

    thygesen

According to the documentation it should be possible to configure the features which EBS boots with.

Changing the featuresBoot list in etc/org.apache.felix.karaf.features.cfg doesn't seem to have any effect.. even removing the file doesn't.

Is this a bug or am I just an idiotic user (or both)

The featuresBoot list in etc/org.apache.felix.karaf.features.cfg file works only on the very first startup. Try to delete your "data" and "instances" directories and modify the featuresBoot list and start Fuse ESB 4.2 again.

Thank you it works. I kind of remembered when I read it.. think I saw Adrian do this at ApacheCon last year or was it on a webcast/video.. hmm.. anyway thank you. Maybe someone could write it in the documentation.

            thx,
