FUSE Versions during convention transition

Greetings,

I'm looking to upgrade to FUSE MB 5.3.x soon from 5.0.0.27.  Given the transitional state of the version number convention, I have question about how the bug fixes from versions using the old convention (namely 5.3.0.6) fit into the versions under the new convention.

I've been looking at FUSE MB 5.3.0.6 as a probable candidate for the upgrade, but with 5.3.1-fuse-00-00 projected for April 12th, I'm considering that version instead.

Can I count on all of the fixes from 5.3.0.6 being preset in 5.3.1-fuse-00-00?  Also, any other info you think I might find useful would be appreciated.

5.3.1-fuse-00-00 is probably right for you.

Yes, you can count on all of the latest fixes being in a new major release.

We practice a policy of "fix first at apache trunk" so fixes automatically make it into the next major release.
