Can ESB 4.2 acces a maven repository that's password protected ?

Hi,

I added a mvn repository url to org.ops4j.pax.url.mvn.cfg. The repository is protected with basic http authentication. I also set org.ops4j.pax.url.mvn.settings where I have profiles for the server credentials but seems that does not make a difference.

Can we access remote protected mvn repos with Fuse 4.2 to install bundles ? How ?

Hi,

Yeah, you can do it.

assume the repository url is

http://someurl/restircted

username is

Jone

password is

123

then add

http://Jone:123@someurl/restircted

to org.ops4j.pax.url.mvn.repositories

in $SMX_HOME/etc/org.ops4j.pax.url.mvn.cfg

Thanks for your response Freeman. I tried that yesterday but I was missing also to add @snapshots at the end of the repository url
