Fuse 4.2.0 log file locking - SimpleLockFile

Hi,

There is a little problem with my log file (data/log/karaf.log) in Fuse 4.2.0 - i'm getting

2010-04-14 09:44:21 org.apache.felix.karaf.main.SimpleFileLock lock

INFO: locking

all the time.

What can cause it?

Hi,

Generally this is caused by same smx/karaf instance already get started. You need stop it to release the lock first.

What do you mean by stopping and releasing the lock?

I stopped the karaf ('shutdown'), deleted data and instances folders, moreover I deleted lock file - the log file is still locked.

Do you mean you never start smx successfully?

Could you provide detail step how to reproduce the problem you encounter?

Smx always starts successfully.

Platform : kubuntu 9.10,  java 1.6

Im just running the fuse with 'start' script with following features:

featuresBoot=activemq,activemq-broker,camel,jbi-cluster,web,servicemix-cxf-bc,servicemix-file,servicemix-http,servicemix-jms,servicemix-bean,servicemix-camel,servicemix-cxf-se,servicemix-quartz,servicemix-scripting,camel-jetty,camel-csv,camel-cxf,camel-jms
