Relation between Apache ServiceMix 4.2.0 & FUSE ESB 4.2.0-fuse-02-00

Hey,

Is the last FUSE ESB based on the newly released 4.2.0 Apache ServiceMix? Does this mean 4.2.0 bug fixes (http://servicemix.apache.org/servicemix-420.html) are also fixed in 4.2.0-fuse-02-00? Because your release notes does not even mention the relation between Apache and FUSE versions of ServiceMix.

Nobody can confirm (or not) that 4.2.0-fuse-02-00 is built upon Apache SMX 4.2.0?

It would be nice to have a kind of traceability between the Apache SMX branch and yours regarding bug fixes. Very difficult to track if a Apache defect is fixed in your product.

Yes FUSE follow the Apache versioning. So FUSE ESB 4.2.0 is based on Apache ServiceMix 4.2.0.

FUSE ESB 4.2.0-fuse-02-00 is the latest release. Its based on Apache SMX 4.2 + selected patches from the trunk.

So with FUSE you got more frequent and supported releases than at Apache.

Ok thank you. It is clearer now but I still do think, as an improvement, that it will be helpful in your release note to also let appear fixes listed in the Apache SMX release note (or at least an hyperlink to the Apache SMX release note).
