Web console is not accessible when FUSE ESB 4.2.0 run as Win service

FUSE ESB 4.2.0-fuse-02-0

Windows Server 2008, 32 bit

When I start Esb using karaf.bat or servicemix.bat everything works fine as expected (except for SSH issue described in http://fusesource.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=2036).

But when I start servicemix service everything looks fine in logs, but I can't connect  to web console, I've got message from Jetty:

'Problem acessing /system/console'. Reason: NOT_FOUND

In wrapper.log I've got the following message:

"Unable to update instance pid: System property 'storage.location' is not set.

This property needs to be set to the full path of the instance.properties file."

Can this be a reason?

I've found a discussion about similar topic for Fuse 4.1.0, but unfortunately there was no solution. It seems like this issue still actual on Windows

Well, at least storage.location message I fixed by adding

wrapper.java.additional.3=-Dstorage.location="%KARAF_HOME%/instances"

to karaf-wrapper.conf.

However, it did not change anything.

It turned out that neither ssh nor webconsole were installed, despite I installed them when using karaf.bat/servicemix.bat console. It seems I don't really understand how all this stuff works.

However, I connected with jconsole, I found status of the installed feature in

org.apache.felix.karaf->features->root->Attributes->Features and using tabular navigation found webconsole and ssh.

After that I went to org.apache.felix.karaf->features->root->Operations->installFeature (second one, with 1 argument) and installed mentioned above features.

If somebody explained this behaviour I would really appreciate.
