mina usage, server/client connection 'reused' in routes

I've been trying to learn how to use MINA and I have a particular situation where I want to be able to use a connection established (thru tcp on a  endpoint).  What I'd like to do is send it to the original connection made by the client.  It's almost like I want to send to a particular session.  Can I do this?

If you want to do request/reply with Mina then just set the option sync=true and it will automatic return back the reply when the route completes.

Otherwise you can get the IOSession on the Message and use it to return back a reply.

Wouldn't this mean i need to get a message as a server before I can send it thru that socket connection?  In my original example, what if i wanted someone to connect to me and I never expect a client to send any messages to me, but I could send messages to the client?

That is not supported in camel-mina. But there are some tickets to improve this.

But Mina is just java code so you can just code this yourself.
