Default Type Mapping for Oracle 10g

I have searched the JBoss Documents, the internet, these forums and others but i can't find a default type mapping for Oracle 10g or info on developing a type mapping without resorting to trial and error.

If anyone can point me in the direction of an Oracle 10 default type mapping or information on developing a type mapping, it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried Oracle9i mapping?

I have tried the mapping for Oracle9i.

When i try using it, NUMBER(10)'s obtained as shorts but should be int's thus i get Numeric OverFlows.
