ServiceMix 4.2 equivalent to Bean Validation component

Hi

Is there an equivalent component to the Bean Validation Component available in Service Mix 4.2 > Fuse Mediation Router 2.2.0-fuse-01-00.

I was able to get my route to use the Bean Validation component to validate the input object against the annotations but our production environment is ServiceMix 4.2 so I cannot use the Bean Validation component. Is there another component that I can use to do validation through annotations?

You can build you custom component.

Or intermediately just validate using regular java code (without the annotations)

But in the end its just much easier to upgrade the ESB and get it out of the box.

Do you know when Fuse will be releasing a servicemix that includes Apache Camel 2.5?

There is no word about it as of the moment.

FUSE MR 2.5.0 will be released in the near future. We had to wait for the SF 2.3 release as well which we wanted to have upgraded and used by default in MR 2.5.0 (the apache version uses CXF 2.2.x).

The SF 2.3 is out so the MR can be started. However there is a pending FUSE ESB 4.2 release that must be done first.

Has just been released. Awaiting documentation to be updated before we put it on the web site.
