What SOAP client do you use?
In XML the < must be encoded in the answer. So the receiver should frankly decode the answer, and thus why I ask which SOAP client you use.

Is there any way to return XML in a JAX-WS response? Is this a problem with the client I am using?

davsclaus Feb 28, 2011 10:33 AM (in response to rkozura)In pure XML you can use CDATA sections to contain < > & chars.
But for regular XML those chars are encoded to > etc.
