Geronimo and ActiveMQ PooledConnectionFactory Compatibility

Is it possible to use ActiveMQ's PooledConnectionFactory with Geronimo XA transactions or is Jencks still the recommended way to connection pool when executing XA transactions?  If it's possible, what do I need to do to set it up?
