GenericFileOperationFailedException: Cannot store file

My application is using camel file route to split & aggregate files.  When a file arrives in an incoming endpoint (directory), the file is sent to a file aggregator endpoint.  Initially the application was built  (and working) on camel 2.4 running in ESB 4.2.  I then upgraded the app to camel 2.6 running in ESB 4.3.1, and started experiencing the error below.  As a further test, I ran the app with camel 2.4 in ESB 4.3.1 and experienced no problems.  I was only able to reproduce this under camel 2.6.

Both routes are file endpoints.  Are you aware of any problems such as this in camel 2.6?

What JDK and OS are you using?

If you are a FuseSource subscriber then use that channel to get assistance

Not a subscriber.  Running JDK 1.6 on Solaris 10.

You'll notice in the log that the file is picked up in the "receiver" endpoint and attempted to copy to the "aggregator" endpoint.  The file is sometimes successfully copied to the aggregator, but because the receiver throws the exception, camel is not able to complete the route and does not delete the original file in receiver endpoint.  The file is then picked up again and the exception is thrown again.  IOException (resource temporarily unavailable) is thrown when the resource is actually available.

Is it possible that this is caused by you have no permission to write a folder or file?

No, because process is running as root and the same configuration works with Camel 2.4.  I get the exception with both 2.5 & 2.6.
