Can Camel Detect How Many Messages Are In A Queue?

I have a number of ActiveMQ queues I am monitoring.  When any of these queues has more than 100 messages, I want to write a message containing the name of that queue to another special queue.  Can anyone suggest a good way to do that?

Maybe you can use Advisory messages from AMQ that contains status of queues. Then you can check the queue size and know if its > 100.
