Unable to Commit ERROR on insert record

What does the following exception mean?

org.jboss.tm.JBossRollbackException: Unable to commit

This happens when I try to create a new instance of Entity Bean OrderBean that has a reference to TypeBean ( multiplicity: one type can have several Orders). I can list, update and delete but not insert with OrderBean.

What is happening?

PS.: I'm using SQL SERVER 2000, JBoss and Eclipse with xdoclet.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I solved the problem. It was a trigger in the database that was executed on an insert process. It was causing the problem.
