Annoying Warning in 4.4

Every time I call some routes, I get the following warning in the console:

Warning:  The encoding 'UTF-8' is not supported by the Java runtime.

Warning: encoding "UTF-8" not supported, using UTF-8

I didn't get it with 4.3 on the same environment, which is CentOS with JDK 1.6.0_20.

Can you tell me how to get rid of this warning?

Can you post more details? The entire log message and which log name that logs it.

And what Camel route causes this log?

That is all that is printed to the console, and it is with some routes that use the JBI and XQuery components only.

i am also getting same error. my java version is

java version "1.6.0_27"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_27-b07)

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.2-b06, mixed mode)

I am not sure if this is java version issue. Please suggest.

It looks like the UTF-8 warning is because somewhere its configured with double quotes "UTF-8", and apparently the system wants the encoding without double quotes, and thus it fallback and use UTF-8.

Are you also using JBI? What Camel components and if possible JBI are you using?

And what OS are you using?

I have the same message, and the log encoding is NOT UTF-8. It has default operating system encoding (in my case, Windows-1250).

Could you please do me a favor,

just edit $FUSE_ESB/etc/custom.properties

add

,sun.nio.cs

at end of

org.osgi.framework.bootdelegation

to see if this helps?

You may need remove $FUSE_ESB/data folder(this will remove the bundle cache) after this change and restart FUSE ESB.

Do you only get this on CentOS (I assume you use that as OS). Or have you seen this on other OS as well?

Btw, it's not a real error for functionality, though a lit bit annoying, it should be totally harmless.
